Ex-Bills star Eric Moulds sued for knowingly infecting women with incurable herpes

Former Bills star Eric Moulds is being sued by a Western New York woman accusing him of “knowingly” infecting her with an incurable sexually transmitted disease.In a complaint filed in New York State Superior Court on Tuesday, the woman — whose name has not been made public — claims that Moulds spread herpes simplex virus Type 2 to her and several other women by targeting “single mothers who were Buffalo Bills fans living in Western New York.”  The disease is incurable but can be treated.The woman claims in the court papers that in January 2023 she finally accepted Moulds’ offer for an “all-expenses-paid” trip to be with him in North Carolina after they had communicated on Instagram since 2019.It was there the two began a sexual relationship that lasted until November 2023. She alleged Moulds “knew, or should have known he had a sexually transmitted disease.”The woman claims she didn’t find out about the former NFL receiver having herpes until Mould’s pregnant fiancee of eight years got in touch with her in December 2023 and suggested she get tested because she and “other women whom (Moulds) has relationships with had been transmitted diseases by him.”The plaintiff alleges she and Mould had sexual relations for the last time in November 2023 and it was “unprotected.” She began to have symptoms a month later.She ended up testing positive for herpes after having no other sexual partners, according to the lawsuit, and proceeded to learn more about Moulds’ alleged actions with other women. Moulds has also been “sued by several women for knowingly spreading herpes over a decade ago,” according to the lawsuit. The woman alleged she was also offered payment for dropping her lawsuit in a bid to “buy her silence,” and the lawsuit claimed previous women were paid off and forced to sign nondisclosure agreements about their relationships with Moulds.Frank LoTempo III, Moulds’ attorney, told the Buffalo News all of the accusati...
