Saturday on Staten Island after a single-vehicle crash at 24 Roosevelt St.in Emerson Hill, police sources said.
Dejesus was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while ability impaired and for refusing to take a sobriety test, police said.A day earlier, Sheikh Aktaruzzaman, 28, was picked up on the same charges after being caught sleeping in his vehicle around 8:30 a.m.within the 43rd Precinct, which covers the southeast section of The Bronx.
Aktaruzzaman’s car was found in the middle of the street at White Plains Road and Wood Avenue in Parkchester, police sources said.And Donald Johnson, 32, was arrested around 7 a.m.on Dec.
6.in the 108th Precinct in Queens, which includes Long Island City, Sunnyside and Woodside.
Johnson was pulled over after someone reported him, the sources said.NYPD officers have also been working an increased amount of overtime as the force has shrunk in recent years....
