Trump adviser Alex Bruesewitz faints and topples over lectern while speaking at NYC Young Republican event: Video

Donald Trump campaign adviser Alex Bruesewitz passed out and toppled over the lectern he was speaking from while onstage during a New York Young Republican Club gala Sunday night, concerning video shows.Bruesewitz was reportedly introducing incoming White House senior aide Dan Scavino when he started slurring his words and subsequently fainted in front of hundreds of worried attendees inside a Manhattan venue, according to footage of the event.Several people quickly rushed to his aid after he collapsed and took the lectern with him in the scary moment.Master of ceremonies Raheem Kassam, who is a former aide of British conservative politician Nigel Farage, told the audience soon after that Bruesewitz was fine backstage and that he even asked a question.“I talked to our friend Alex Bruesewitz and you know what he said to me? He goes ‘Did I at least look cool?’ I said Alex you used gravity like I’ve seen nobody use gravity before in their lives,” Kassam said.“But he’s recuperating back there so give him a big cheer so he’ll hear you.”President-elect Trump also called in following the caught-on-camera tumble and sent his well wishes to his loyal adviser.

“I know that Alex is going to be fine because he’s a tough son of a gun,” Trump said over the phone.“There’s no doubt about that.
