Will Borgen ready to bring his physical edge to Rangers blue line

DALLAS, Texas — The point of emphasis regarding the acquisition of Will Borgen was the 28-year-old defenseman’s physicality.At 6-foot-3, 204 pounds, he is expected to get to show that off in his Rangers debut Friday night against the Stars.After taking reps with several defensemen during practice Thursday, however, it is unclear whom Borgen will line up next to in his first game with the third team of his NHL career.“He’s a big defenseman that brings a physical element,” head coach Peter Laviolette said after the Rangers held practice at the Stars practice facility in Farmers Branch.
