Taxi hits multiple pedestrians outside iconic Manhattan Macys on Christmas Day

A taxi driver slammed into multiple pedestrians in Herald Square Wednesday afternoon, according to police.The Christmas chaos unfolded outside Macy’s on 34th Street and 6th Avenue shortly after 4 pm, cops said.Five victims were taken to a local hospital in stable condition, sources said.The cause of the incident is still under investigation, but appeared to be an accident.Law enforcement around the world has been on edge this holiday season after an anti-Islam activist plowed his car into a Christmas market in Germany last week, killing 5 and injuring 200.This is a developing story, please check back for updates....
