New Orleans terror attack live updates: Long Island native, 25, among 15 killed

A terrorist killed at least 15 people in the early hours of New Year’s Day Wednesday when he rammed a pickup truck into a crowd of revelers on Bourbon Street in New Orleans.Shamsud-Din Jabbar, 42, an Army vet from Texas, died in a shootout with police that left two officers injured.He was flying an ISIS flag on the rented Ford F-150.

The FBI has yet to confirm his possible connections or affiliations with the terrorist group.The Sugar Bowl college playoff game between Georgia and Notre Dame, originally scheduled for Wednesday, is set to go on today at 3 p.m.local time at the Caesar Superdome, about 1 mile away from the attack....
