FBI officials laid out the timeline for Shamsud-Din Jabbar’s actions leading up to the gruesome New Year’s Day truck ramming terrorist attack in New Orleans — and revealed the killer posted deranged videos to social media mere minutes before unleashing his deadly onslaught.Jabbar rents the Ford F-150 he used to mow down dozens of celebrants in New Orlean’s iconic Bourbon Street in Houston on December 30, FBI official Chris Raia said Thursday.Fourteen people were killed and dozens were injured in the attack.Jabbar drives from Houston to New Orleans, recording a series of deranged social media videos on his way.

Jabar posted five videos to his Facebook account beginning at 1:29 a.m.and ending 3:02 a.m., less than 15 minutes before he drove into the crowd at Bourbon Street.In the first video, the terrorist said he originally planned to hurt his family and friends, but was concerned the headlines surrounding the attack wouldn’t focus on the “war between the believers and the disbelievers,” Raia said.

In other videos, the Army veteran claimed he joined ISIS prior to this summer and provided a last will and testament, he added.At some point between 1 a.m.and 2 a.m.

Jabbar was spotted on surveillance video placing IED’s on the intersection of Bourbon Street and New Orleans Street.“The IED was inside a cooler, and many people stopped and looked at the cooler and then continued on their way,” he said.FBI bomb technicians recovered two IEDs in coolers, one of which was placed on the corner of Bourbon Street and Orleans St and the other was left at an intersection two blocks away, Raia said.Jabar was spotted on surveillance footage placing the expolosives at approximately between 1 and 2 a.m., according to Raia....
