Knicks Miles McBride taking it slow while dealing with hamstring strain

OKLAHOMA CITY — Miles McBride remains “day-to-day” after missing his second straight game because of a hamstring strain, he told The Post. “Just seeing how it feels. It’s tough with hamstrings,” McBride said.

“Those type of injuries, you don’t want to rush it.But I’m progressing.” McBride was sorely missed in Friday night’s 117-110 loss to the Thunder, with the Knicks managing just five total points while the starters logged heavy minutes.

Super frustrating.But it’s a part of it.

Just got to bounce back.” There was a scary moment in the third quarter, when OG Anunoby dunked to create an 11-point lead but lost grip on the rim and took a hard spill on his arm. After getting up, Anunoby darted to the bench with his right arm limp. “My arm was ringing, like my funny bone,” he told The Post. It looked worse than the encouraging reality.

Anunoby returned after a timeout to shoot the free throws and finishe...
