The Big Apple is home to an eye-popping 436 Guinness World Record holders, nearly 8% of all the risk-takers in the country and second only to California’s 615, according to the 70th edition of the “Guinness World Records.”Here are four of the New Yorkers whose grit and determination helped them reach immortality.Miki Sudo – Most wins of the Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest (female), (10); Most hot dogs eaten at the contest (female), (51); Most hot dogs eaten in one minute, (6); Fastest time to eat a burrito, (31.47) seconds; Most jello eaten with a fork in 30 seconds, (1.30 kilograms)The Upper East Side native entered her first Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest in 2014 and has taken home first place every year since — excluding the one summer she took off while she was pregnant.In July, she set the world records for most hot dogs eaten at a Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest by a female at 51 and a half, and most wins of the Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest by a female, 10.For her gut-busting feat, Sudo, 39, received a certificate from Guinness, and bragging rights.“Honestly, the most fun after Nathan’s is just watching the footage back,” she told The Post.

“Because it’s hard to live that in the moment when you’re up there.”She is ranked as the No.1 female competitive eater with Major League Eating, with feats like devouring 16.5 pints of ice cream in six minutes, 170 wings in 12 minutes, and 96 tacos in 10 minutes.

Sudo, who grew up in Tokyo, “fell into” competitive eating in 2011 as a college student, when she downed a 12-pound bowl of pho — full of a gallon of broth, two pounds of noodles and two pounds of meat — at a Las Vegas restaurant’s contest.She is studying to become a dental hygienist.

She is married to Nick Wehry, the No.6 male competitive eater with Major League Eating.
