Not all of Sunday’s action between the Cowboys and Commanders was limited to the field.A member of Dallas’ famed cheerleading squad was nailed in the back of the head by a ball off the foot of Cowboys placekicker Brandon Aubrey while performing on the sideline.The awkward moment transpired in the first half at AT&T Stadium, where Aubrey’s kick veered out of bounds, with a cameraman attempting to deflect the ball’s path, which ultimately came into contact with the cheerleader.The performer, who some on social media suspected to be rookie Michelle Siemienowski, fell to the ground after the collision before rising to her feet.Fellow cheerleaders checked in on their squadmate, as well as Commanders punter Tress Way, as seen on the Fox broadcast.The cheerleader in question was then shown sitting down and smiling as she collected herself after an unexpected turn of events.A California native, Siemiensowski announced she made the Cowboys’ cheerleading team in July 2024.“This has been my dream for as long as I can remember,” she gushed on Instagram at the time.“… This has been the most life changing experience, but this is only the beginning.
