At least two teens were among three victims shot and wounded when gunfire erupted inside two Big Apple bodegas on Sunday evening, according to authorities.The two separate shootings happened just hours apart on the Upper West Side and in Brooklyn – with suspects in both still on the loose, cops said.A 16-year-old boy was shot in the stomach and another male, whose age wasn’t immediately known, was struck in the hip around 7:45 p.m.
inside a deli on the corner of Amsterdam and 92nd Street in upper Manhattan, police said.Both victims were taken to nearby hospitals in stable condition, according to police.The suspect was a male wearing all black, the NYPD said.Less than two hours later, a 16-year-old boy was shot in the left arm, right hand and groin inside a deli on Sutter Avenue in East New York in a targeted attack around 9:30 p.m., police said.He was hospitalized at Brookdale Hospital in stable condition.The owner of that Brooklyn deli, 24/7 Eats Deli and Grill, told The Post late Sunday, “Somebody just came in here and just shot somebody, that’s all.It’s not a big issue.”The suspected gunman in that shooting was a male wearing all-gray, according to the NYPD. The back-to-back shootings inside city bodegas come less than a week after six people were shot and wounded when gunmen opened fire inside a Bronx deli.
A 40-year-old mother was shot in the stomach when one of the cowardly intended targets used her as a human shield.Her 12-year-old daughter was also hit in the right thigh, police said.
