An irate Los Angeles driver nearly hit a massive group of teenage bicyclists who’d taken over a busy roadway — with the vengeful bikers later attacking the motorist, wild videos show.Clips on social media show the driver of a white Mercedes aggressively trying to drive around the scores of cyclists going westbound down W.Olympic Boulevard on Saturday afternoon.The motorist comes dangerously close to hitting some of them, even crossing the median and running red lights, the hair-raising footage shows.“Hey move!” the biker filming yells to his pals, who had completely blocked three lanes of traffic, as the car speeds up behind them.
“Watch out! Watch out!” he repeatedly warns.The Mercedes finally swerves around the group after blowing through a red light and takes off down the street, video shows.The cyclists, many of who looked underage, then apparently chased the driver down and cornered him in a parking garage, with another video showing the bikers assaulting him.Several bikers can be seen punching and kicking the man as he runs away.More teens jump on top of his car and kick out the windows, according to the clip.Residents of the Mid-Wilshire neighborhood told CBS Los Angeles that they saw the biker gang cruising through the area on Saturday.Local business owner Rosalina Hernandez said she was initially cheering the group of cyclists on to “do a wheelie” but was dismayed when she later saw the videos on social media.
“It’s giving me chills because it’s unacceptable,” she said.“Especially as a parent.
