Ben Affleck is one of the celebrities who had to flee their home in Los Angeles due to the devastating Pacific Palisades fire.The “Argo” director, 52, was evacuated from the $20 million house on Tuesday and went to his ex-wife Jennifer Garner’s nearby home, according to TMZ.Garner, who shares three children with Affleck, seemingly hasn’t been forced to evacuate her Brentwood residence yet, although all residents are reportedly on standby.TMZ noted that it’s unclear if Affleck went to Garner’s home to check on their family or because he needed to stay there.Before heading to Garner’s, Affleck was photographed driving up to his bachelor pad in his car.He had his window open despite the poor air quality from the wildfire.
He was dressed in a navy blue suit and an unbuttoned white dress shirt.The Post has reached out to Affleck’s rep for comment.Affleck purchased his five-bedroom, six-bathroom home in Pacific Palisades for $20.5 million in July 2024 following his separation from Jennifer Lopez.The singer, 55, filed for divorce from Affleck in August 2024, on the two-year anniversary of their second wedding ceremony.The exes settled the divorce just a few days ago.
According to TMZ, each star is walking away with what they individually acquired during their union.That includes Affleck getting to keep his Pacific Palisades home.They also reached an agreement on the $61 million Beverly Hills mansion they bought; however, the terms are confidential and the home is still on the market.Additionally, the musician will keep her 8.5-carat green diamond engagement ring.Since his split from Lopez, Affleck has leaned on Garner, 52, for support as they continue to co-parent kids Violet, 16, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel, 12.
