'Dexter' Star Courtney Ford Files For Divorce From 'Superman Returns' Actor Brandon Routh

LOADINGERROR LOADINGCourtney Ford and Brandon Routh are parting ways after 17 years of marriage.On Wednesday, the “Dexter” star, 46, filed for divorce from the “Superman Returns” actor, 45, in Los Angeles, citing “irreconcilable differences” for the split, according to documents obtained by multiple outlets.

The pair, who worked together on the TV series “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” from 2016 to 2021, tied the knot in Nov.2007.

They later welcomed their son Leo in 2012.Advertisement Ford has requested joint legal and physical custody of Leo, as well as spousal support from Routh, per the documents.

HuffPost has reached out to Ford and Routh’s reps for comment.Ford and Routh have been largely private about their relationship, only giving fans rare glimpses of their life together on social media.

Routh’s most recent post about Ford was a touching Mother’s Day tribute in May 2023.“She’s a ride-or-die friend, and a mom who’s all in,” Routh wrote of Ford in the post.“I’m so grateful that Leo has @courtneyfordhere, who jumps feet first into living, giving him permission and unconditional love to be fully himself.” Advertisement Ford also posted a simple shoutout to Routh on Father’s Day the same year.
