An off-duty city firefighter who once bragged that it took seven cops to arrest him during a 2011 street party was busted again Sunday and charged with driving while intoxicated, police said.Jean Negron-Davila, 36, was taken into custody around 4:18 a.m.
on Staten Island, where he refused to take a Breathalyzer test, officials said.Negron-Davila, who is listed as a firefighter in Brooklyn’s Engine 279, was charged with DWI, driving while ability impaired and with refusing to take the Breathalyzer.
A firefighter rep for Negron-Davila could not be immediately reached for comment.The firefighter was previously arrested in Staten Island during a rowdy 2011 weekend street party in Graniteville, where he cursed out police officers trying to clear the block, police said.“Go f–k yourself, cop, and leave me the f–k alone!” Negron-Davila shouted at the officers, according to cops.
He then charged at police and punched a lieutenant in the face, said court documents at the time.“You guys fight like b—–s.
