Private ambulette worker, 64, found face-down in pool of blood on company bus in NYC homicide: sources

A 64-year-old driver was found murdered – laying face-down in a pool of blood – inside a private ambulette bus in the Bronx this week, cops and sources said. Peter Forrest – who is employed by the Long Island-based Marquis Ambulette – was discovered around 10:30 a.m.Monday inside the bus parked on Castle Hill Avenue after colleagues called 911, authorities and sources said. Cops found Forrest lying face-down in a pool of blood, unconscious and unresponsive, with trauma all over his body, according to cops and sources. Forrest, who lived about 5 miles away in the Allerton neighborhood, was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS workers, police said. The NYPD confirmed Tuesday that Forrest’s death is being investigated as a homicide, though the exact circumstances are unclear. No arrests had been made by Tuesday evening....
