I hope you’ll come back.”As Spencer wrapped up the interview by promoting “The Night Agent” once more, she looked at Basso and said, “Come back, please.”“Yes ma’am,” Basso responded — which sparked a big reaction from Spencer.She threw up her arms and laughed while saying, “Don’t call me ma’am.”Someone off-camera was heard saying “Oh!” about the exchange.The broadcast then cut to a commercial, robbing fans of seeing Basso’s reaction.But overall, things went swimmingly between Spencer and Basso during their four-minute interview.The chat began with Spencer shaking Basso’s hand and congratulating him on the success of his show.“Gabriel Basso in the house,” Spencer said as the audience cheered.“It’s so nice to meet you in person.I’ve heard great things and of course I’ve seen the show,” the TV anchor gushed.Basso plays FBI agent Peter Sutherland in the popular series, which premiered its first season on Netflix in March 2023.
