The Texas cheerleader accused of fatally poisoning a rival’s competitive show goat at their high school hasn’t been able to spend time with her own pets unless she’s accompanied by an adult, according to a court order.Aubrey Vanlandingham, 17, has a felony charge hanging over her head after she allegedly admitted to deliberately poisoning Willy the goat on Oct.23, according to an affidavit obtained by outlets.The Vista Ridge High School senior, who was arrested in November, is accused of forcing the defenseless animal to drink pesticide with a drench gun inside the school’s barn – with the sickening act captured on surveillance footage.The goat died a day later in the arms of its owner.

While Vanlandingham made $5,000 bond after her arrest, she agreed to stay away from any animals leading up to her trial, according to a court order reported on by the New York Times.She also reportedly agreed she would not be around her own pets without adult supervision.Those pets include a dog, cat and rabbit, according to the order obtained by the Daily Mail.The teen girl must also stay away from the family who owned the goat she allegedly killed.Vanlandingham claimed to police she carried out the killing because the goat’s owner’s 15-year-old daughter was “a cheater,” the affidavit alleges.

And the suspect added, “I don’t like cheaters,” according to the docs.It’s unclear what she meant by those assertions.Both peers were part of Vista Ridge’s Future Farmers of America.She is facing a charge of cruelty to a livestock animal.“My minor client and her family are working hard to resolve any legal issues and non-legal issues raised by these allegations, and we are thankful for a judicial process that will let us tell our story,” Vanlandingham’s attorney previously told KXAN.A hearing was set for Wednesday in the case, but instead was pushed off until March, according to the Daily Mail....
