Father knows best.A New York woman says her protective dad ordered her new boyfriend to answer 20 personal questions to make sure her new squeeze lives up to his sky-high standards.

Uzo Njoku, 28, shared the saga — and some of the probing questions — in an X thread that quickly went viral after it was posted last week.“My dad sent me a 20-question PDF about my boyfriend that I have to answer before I can introduce them,” the Manhattan-based artist explained in her initial post.

She subsequently shared 11 of the questions, saying she removed “some of the very very personal” ones her prying father wanted answered.First, Njoku’s dad wanted to know about her beau’s “important personal stories” that “shaped who he is today.”Additionally, the father wanted details on the man’s educational background, his job, his family medical history (including past surgical procedures), and his cigarette, alcohol and drug use.

The curious parent also implored that Njoku dish details on her new man’s past relationships, including an explanation as to why it didn’t work out with his most previous girlfriend.Njoku implied that her dad — who is Nigerian — was overrbearring, sharing two angry face emojis in relation to the situation.

“They want me to be single for the rest of my life,” she added.However, many X users begged to differ, saying Njoku’s father was making sure she wasn’t suffering from any “blind spots.”“Sounds like your dad doesn’t play—he’s basically running TSA for your love life,” one impressed X user wrote.
