Uncle officiating nieces wedding pulls off ultimate prank with the help of her fianc: We could not stop laughing

An uncle officiating his niece’s wedding pranked the bride by giving the groom a strict last-minute talking – knowing the scene would be captured on the wedding video. Dani Hatten, 28, chose her uncle and best friend Jerry Roxas, 57, to officiate her wedding in Santa Ynez, California, last October.Jerry seized the opportunity to play a prank on Dani and enlisted the help of the groom Ryan Hatten, 27.The two concocted the prank which consisted of Jerry giving Ryan a last-minute lecture, threatening extensive bodily harm should he hurt Dani.Dani, completely unaware of what had happened, only found out when watching back her wedding video.Dani, a nurse practitioner based in Delray Beach, Florida, said: “It was so hilarious and so characteristic of them both. “Anyone that knows me, my husband and my uncle knows that we love dry humor and I was cracking up when I watched the clip for the first time. “My uncle is a photographer and videographer and he knew that he would be mic’d up during the whole ceremony so he wanted me and Ryan to have something to look back at and laugh at from our wedding day.“We could not stop laughing when we finally got our wedding albums back.”Ryan and Dani met three and a half years ago in a bar in a Nashville, Tennessee, and as their relationship developed so did Ryan’s friendship with Jerry.Dani said: “”It makes me so happy that my husband and my uncle have the type of relationship where they can banter with each other.“My relationship with my uncle is more like a best-friendship than anything. “I can tell him anything and he has been a constant support system for me and Ryan. “We wanted Uncle Jerry to officiate because he is such an influential and positive light in our lives.”...
