Chris Pratt says sons school burned down in LA fires but house was spared: Miraculously, its still standing

Chris Pratt is feeling grateful after the LA fires tore through the Pacific Palisades neighborhood earlier this month.The “Jurassic World” actor, 45, spoke out about the deadly blazes in a video he posted to his social media accounts on Wednesday.

“All right, I’m going to go check out my house,” Pratt said in the selfie-style clip he recorded inside his car.“Miraculously, it’s still standing by the grace of God.We have four walls and a roof.

I’m going to go check out the town,” he added, referring to Pacific Palisades, which was decimated by the fire that began burning on Jan.7.“I haven’t been back since the Palisades fires.

It’s truly devastating, as you know.” Pratt went on to say that the “silver lining is my house was saved,” but also acknowledged that “at the same time, so many people’s houses were burned around us, and the community’s gone.”“My son’s school’s gone.My son’s mom’s house burned down,” he continued, referring to his ex-wife Anna Faris, 48, and their son Jack, 12.The “Mom” star purchased the home in 2019 following her split from Pratt two years prior.“Anna and her family are safe and very grateful,” a rep for Faris told People on Jan.
