Alarming footage shows a trigger-happy football fan brazenly firing a gun into the air as chaos erupted on the streets of Philadelphia after the Eagles playoff game Sunday night.The video, which quickly went viral on social media, captured an unidentified man raising their arm in the air and firing off three gunshots while a huge crowd of Eagles supporters celebrated in the streets — with three people also getting injured as a car struck them.“I believe that was a gun.That was definitely a gun!” one man could be heard saying after the NFC championship game at Lincoln Financial Field.Several confused revelers could be seen glancing around immediately after the shots rang out.
Police are currently probing the incident, which unfolded at the intersection of Cottman and Frankford Avenues, FOX 29 News reporter Steve Keeley posted on X.It wasn’t immediately clear if anyone was injured.
Separately, cops are also investigating after a car struck and injured three people leaving the game near the historic Center City area around 9:30 p.m.The driver was taken into custody but police said the collision didn’t immediately appear to be intentional.The victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries, cops said.The mayhem broke out after the Eagles defeated the Washington Commanders 55-23 late Sunday.
