Smallville actor Tom Welling arrested for DUI in Arbys parking lot

Tom Welling, best known for his portrayal of a young Superman on the TV series “Smallville,” was taken into custody for a DUI, The Post has confirmed.The 47-year-old actor was arrested in an Arby’s parking lot in Yreka, California, shortly after midnight on Monday, TMZ reported.According to records viewed by The Post, Welling was cited and has already been released from custody.Welling was booked for driving under the influence with a reported blood alcohol level at or above 0.08%, per TMZ.The Post has reached out to a rep for Welling.

On Sunday, the actor took to Instagram, celebrating the birthday of his wife, Jessica Rose Lee Welling.“Happy Birthday to our Angel who makes our dreams come true and inspires us even more!” he captioned a series of photos of Jessica.“We love you to the moon and back!”Though it is not known why Welling was in Yreka, which is near the California-Oregon border, Jessica has her home location listed as “Northern California” in her Instagram bio.Welling rose to fame playing a young Clark Kent on “Smallville,” which ran for ten seasons between 2001 and 2011.
