Fifty games into the Rangers season, Adam Edstrom has played in every single one.The 6-foot-7 rookie has emerged as a defensively reliable fourth-line winger who can lead the forechecking charge and make things happen in front of the net.Even with veteran skaters waiting in the wings, head coach Peter Laviolette has seemingly had zero thoughts about taking Edstrom out.It’s a testament to Edstrom’s body of work in his first full NHL season, but also to the impact the lines he’s skated on have had.Tuesday’s matchup with the Hurricanes counted as Edstrom’s eighth straight game skating with Matt Rempe and Sam Carrick, a trio that has more than pulled its weight since the Blueshirts began to right the ship on their 2023-24 season.The Rangers have found a unique dynamic with the two towering youngsters sandwiching a hard-nosed veteran.“I think it just brings an element,” Rempe told The Post after a lightly attended optional morning skate Tuesday at Madison Square Garden.
“It brings a lot of size, it’s hard on defenses to play against us.I think it’s exciting.
