Knicks interested in Raptors Chris Boucher ahead of NBA trade deadline

After making a franchise-altering trade with the Raptors last year, the Knicks could be looking toward Toronto again for frontcourt help ahead of next week’s NBA trade deadline.The Knicks have expressed interest in Raptors forward Chris Boucher, The Post’s Stefan Bondy reported in his Inside the Knicks newsletter for Post Sports+.The 32-year-old is averaging 10.7 points and 4.4 rebounds in 17.5 minutes per game this season while shooting 50.5 percent from the field and 37 percent from 3-point range.Boucher is in his seventh season with the Raptors and was teammates with OG Anunoby for parts of six seasons.He was part of the championship-winning 2018-19 team.The big man previously told Bondy that he and Anunoby were “best friends” and addressed his former teammate’s quiet demeanor.
