9 in the latest AP top 25 poll released Monday, marking the first time they’ve been ranked in the top 10 since the end of the 1999-2000 season, when they were also ranked ninth.St.John’s (21-3) leads the Big East (12-1), is on a 10-game winning streak and has won 16 of its past 17 games after surviving the Marquette-UConn gauntlet over the last week.After defeating Marquette, then ranked 11th, at the Garden last Tuesday, Rick Pitino and Co.
