Super Bowl 2025 sets eye-popping viewership record

Not only was there a new Super Bowl champ on Sunday, it seems there was a new Super Bowl viewership record set. Super Bowl 2025 between the Chiefs and Eagles drew a projected 126 million viewers across Fox, Fox Deportes, Telemundo, streaming service Tubi and NFL digital properties, according to an announcement by Fox on Monday. The final numbers won’t come out until Tuesday, but the projected numbers – based on Nielson fast national figures and Tubi/NFL first-party analytics – surpass the 123.7 million viewers that tuned into last year’s Super Bowl which had been the previous record holder. The game, which ended up being a 40-22 win for the Eagles, saw a projected peak audience of 135.7 million viewers from 8 p.m.to 8:15 p.m.
