2 straphangers slashed in separate attacks on NYC subway during evening commute: cops

Two straphangers were slashed in the Big Apple’s subway system during the Monday evening commute in separate attacks after the victims got into arguments with their perpetrators, cops said.A 28-year-old woman was first cut across the face on the platform of the 86th Street station that serves the 4 and 6 lines on the Upper East Side in Manhattan around 6:30 p.m., police said.The victim and unidentified man, who had on all-black, were in dispute leading up to the attack, according to the NYPD.The woman was taken to New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center in stable condition.About 20 minutes later, a 30-year-old man was slashed in the neck and back on a southbound L train pulling into the Wilson Avenue station in Brooklyn by a suspect after the two also got into an argument, police said.The victim was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition.No arrests have been made in either case so far....
