President Trump’s 17-year-old granddaughter Kai has admitted it’s “tough” living with a constant Secret Service detail — but worth it to protect her from all the “wackos.”“It’s tough because you’re in high school and you want to have your privacy,” the golf-playing teen told her dad, Donald Trump Jr., of life in her final two years of high school.“But I feel no matter what I’ll probably never have the privacy as other kids my age so I kinda just have to deal with it.“Also, having Secret Service is a good thing because you never know what will happen.
There’s a lot of wackos.”The Secret Service is required to provide 24-hour protection for the president and his family unless instructed otherwise.“Like all things, you take the good with the bad,” Don Jr.told his daughter in their YouTube chat.
“You’ve done a great job. It’s enabled you to create a platform.
You can do a lot of stuff that other people can’t do so you got to take that but with everything, there’s a trade-off.”In August, Kai, a junior at The Benjamin School in North Palm Beach, Fla., revealed her intentions to play golf at the University of Miami after she graduates high school in 2026. Don.Jr commended his daughter’s “great opportunity” to pursue college athletics during the 32-minute video, which consisted of the pair playing a shortened golf round. “I think it’s great.
Playing a sport in college, I sort of like it because I think college can go really wrong where a lot of people just end up in college and all they end up doing is partying and doing nothing else.It forces you to have some discipline.
I like the idea of it.It’s a great opportunity,” he told his daughter.“You’re basically learning how to run a business at an age where it’s hard to figure that out for a kid.” Don Jr.
praised his daughter for significantly increasing her social media audience, having gained more than 956,000 YouTube subscribers since Election Day...
