Pitchers and catchers have gone west and south and baseball is in the air.With Alex Bregman having moved onto greener pastures heading from Houston to Boston, the Red Sox have seen their World Series odds improve slightly thanks to the move.DraftKings moved Boston from 25/1 to 22/1 to win the World Series.Prior to the move, Fangraphs projected the Red Sox as an 81-81 team, while sportsbooks are now putting their Over/Under win projection at 85.5.Caesars Sportsbook is even more bullish on Boston, with an 86.5 win total projection to go along with 18/1odds to win the World Series, the seventh-best mark.They’re the only sportsbook with that much belief in Alex Cora’s bunch, probably rightfully so, given their projected starting rotation is far from proven.The Red Sox will send out new ace Garrett Crotchet ahead of Brayon Bello, Tanner Houck, Walker Buehler, Lucas Giolito and Kutter Crawford.Don’t expect Boston to be hanging the AL East banner in their rafters anytime soon, though.Bet365 has not moved the Red Sox’s AL East odds despite adding the two-time World Series champion, keeping the Red Sox at +500 compared to the Yankees -105 and Orioles +260 marks.The sportsbook still has the Red Sox to win the World Series at 25/1, the longest odds on the betting market.Bregman surely gives the Red Sox lineup a boost, as The Post’s Jon Heyman notes, having posted an insane 1.240 and seven home runs in 21 games at Fenway Park.Buckle up, with the AL East having just got much more interesting as four — and maybe all five — teams jockey for position in a crowded American League playoff picture.Erich Richter is a brazilian jiu-jitsu blue belt but he has a black belt in MMA betting.
