A look into the 31st SAG Awards has been unveiled! The Post got a sneak peek at what guests will enjoy during the ceremony at the Screen Actors Guild Awards’ Media Preview at The Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall on Thursday.This year’s awards are dubbed a “Love Letter to Los Angeles” following the deadly wildfires last month — a sentiment that SAG Awards Executive Producer Jon Brockett holds close to his heart.“I’m a longtime Angelino resident and I think we all struggled, whether you were directly impacted by the fires or not, you struggled with the emotion of it.It was really emotional for us to see our fellow residents hurting,” he told The Post.

“I realized that even after living here for twenty years, how much I love this city.And I didn’t know that before.

I’ve had a rollercoaster with L.A.I think a lot of people have.

But I truly felt this emotional connection to the city that I had not felt before.”Brockett explained what caused that feeling, crediting “not only the events themselves but how residents rallied and came in support of each other.”“I realized there is so much good here so that helped reshape our thinking about the show and this kind of love letter to L.A.came to us and how we can show the city off in a really beautiful way through community, through resilience, through it’s determination.”Sofia Carson, one of this year’s SAG Awards Ambassadors, echoed Brockett’s sentiments, explaining what her role is within SAG-AFTRA.“Being a SAG Ambassador is such a beautiful honor,” the actress expressed.
