Jane Fonda declares shes not done in SAGs 2025 Life Achievement Award speech: And I can conjure up voices!

Everyone loves Jane.Jane Fonda got a standing ovation at the 2025 SAG Awards Sunday as she got onstage to accept the Life Achievement Award, which went to Barbra Streisand last year.Julia Louis-Dreyfus presented the award to Fonda, 87, in front of the star-studded crowd at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, after a montage played that highlighted Fonda’s film and TV career.“This means the world to me,” Fonda said to the crowd.

“What we create is empathy. Our job is to understand another human being so profoundly that we can touch their souls.

We feel their joy.”After Fonda’s speech awkwardly got interrupted by an announcer, she joked, “And I can conjure up voices!”Fonda then spoke about the importance of showing “empathy” to others.“We must not isolate.
