Angry moms unhinged demands for daughters formal dress exposed in viral video

Formal season can be stressful to say the least.All you want is to ensure that your child is happy, and gets exactly what they need to have a fun night and feel beautiful.But, that isn’t always the case.A Queensland formal store has gone viral after exposing a very angry mom on TikTok, and to say commenters were shocked is just the beginning.Formal store Gossip Gowns has taken to TikTok to expose a ‘Karen’ who stormed into their Queensland store in the height of formal season last year.The experience, which the store labelled as a ‘scary encounter’ involved a mother who entered the store after finding out another student from her daughter’s school had taken her dream dress before her.“Is there a manager here?” the woman began in the video.“Apparently someone has already snuck in and taken her dress.”Gossip Gowns, like many other similar formal stores, has a formal registry policy, wherein after someone purchases a dress, their name is taken down and no one else is able to buy the same dress from that store – to ensure there aren’t any double-ups.According to the video, the woman had come in with her daughter to try on a dress, but then left to ‘have a think about her options’.Another child had come in in the meantime and snapped up the dress, which meant that she could no longer get her hands on it.But, for this ‘Karen’, that explanation wasn’t quite good enough.“Everyone knows she wanted the blue dress – they all talk about it,” the woman said.“Some little sneak’s come in, and I want her to have the dress she’s always dreamed of, so we’ve got to make this right.”The woman then demands to find out who the other girl is, suggesting she may be better off in a pink or a green, then after the staff say that would be against their policy, the woman begins to fire off threats.“You’re going to lose a customer, I’m telling you,” she said.“I know a lot of people, and I’ve got a lot of people with young girls...
