Baltimore States Attorney to Withdraw Motion to Vacate Adnan Syeds Conviction

The Baltimore City state’s attorney announced on Tuesday that his office would withdraw a motion to vacate the conviction against Adnan Syed, who has spent decades in prison while fighting charges that he had killed his high school girlfriend, Hae Min Lee.Mr.Syed’s case was chronicled in the hit podcast “Serial,” which presented new evidence and led to a swell of interest in the case.
