Burger King customer bemoans absolutely disgusting meal that cost a fortune at airport

The price of this burger was sky high.Airport food prices are often more expensive, but a dad was left in shock after seeing the price of some fast food at Burger King in Antalya Airport in Turkey. The dad, who shares his travels on TikTok as @travellingdad, revealed that he spent £83.75 — which is $106.07 USD — on what he called “proxy” burgers from Burger King.He described the prices as “absolutely disgusting” and felt that the airport was “robbing” tourists. In the video, he revealed exactly what their over-$100 order consisted of: three burgers — two of which he showed were thin as “an envelope” — three sodas, four orders of fries, one order of onion rings and a few packets of mayonnaise. One person in the comments wasn’t surprised to see this, writing, “had been to Antalya Airport, super expensive. In fact, turkey has become very expensive.”But others had mixed feelings about the ordeal.“Looked at the prices, bought it anyway and then make a video to have a moan about it,” one person said, adding a rolling eyes emoji.“It’s really simple, don’t buy from them,” another chimed in.“The funny thing is … you encourage this behaviour by purchasing it,” someone else said.“People, the prices are up there, it’s not robbery if they display the price you choose to pay it,” a user pointed out.Though some people were more sympathetic.“I’ll never go back to Turkey, it’s a complete rip off now,” someone agreed.“Always take your own food to the airport and avoid the daylight robbery,” another suggested.“Only been to Turkey once but the airport had us flabbergasted burger & chips nearly cost more than the holiday,” a commenter wrote....
