Coco Gauff dazzles on Oscars 2025 red carpet during whirlwind night

Coco Gauff’s first Oscars experience is one she’ll never forget.The 2023 U.S.Open champion dazzled on the red carpet Sunday outside the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood for the 2025 Academy Awards, where she wowed in a custom yellow Miu Miu gown and gold Rolex watch.

“I play tennis so I’m not used to this glam, but it’s nice to get dressed for the day,” Gauff, 20, said on the red carpet, according to a video posted Sunday by The Tennis Letter.Shortly after the ceremony, which saw “Anora” collect the top prizes for Best Picture, Best Director (Sean Baker) and Best Actress (Mikey Madison), Gauff made her way to the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscar Party in Beverly Hills later in the night.Switching up her look for an embellished green Miu Miu number, Gauff posed for photos on the striped yellow and gray carpet before heading inside the star-studded bash at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts.Gauff, the reigning world No.3, mingled inside with tennis great Serena Williams as the pair posed for a photo together.

“With the [GOAT] @serenawilliams,” Gauff shared on X.Reigning U.S.Open champion Aryna Sabalenka also attended the glitzy soiree.

“What an amazing experience,” Gauff gushed of her Oscars weekend on Instagram.The Oscars arrived ahead of this year’s BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells.Gauff told Entertainment Tonight from the Oscars’ red carpet she was leaving for the tournament Sunday evening.She quipped that walking the step-and-repeat at the Academy Awards was more nerve-wracking than competing at a tennis match.“Walking the carpet, 100 percent,” Gauff said.“I practice [tennis] every day and that I do once every blue moon, but everyone was so supportive so that was nice.”Gauff was “back in the tennis world” bright and early Monday morning, posting a snap from Indian Wells, Calif., with a 2:04 a.m.
