Bye Tig, no big.Meghan Markle shut down her lifestyle blog, The Tig, back in 2017 when she got engaged to her now-husband Prince Harry — a decision that she doesn’t regret today.“Well, I loved The Tig, but I certainly love my husband more,” she said in a new interview with People.
“So that was a choice I made at the time, and I wouldn’t change that for a second,” she added.Markle launched The Tig in 2014 when she was starring on “Suits” in Toronto.She blogged about food, wellness and travel until her romance with Harry, 40, forced her to give up that passion project.
But now Markle is preparing to launch her new lifestyle brand, which had its name changed from American Riviera Orchard to As Ever following a slew of trademark snafus.She’s planning to sell her signature jam and other products when the business goes live in the spring to coincide with the release of her Netflix show coming out Tuesday.Speaking about Harry, Markle told People, “My husband met me when I had The Tig, and I see this spark in his eye when he sees me doing the thing that I was doing when he first met me.”The former actress added that the couple — who fled the UK in 2020 and now live in Montecito, Calif.
