Fireworks won’t be the only thing popping off in Austin on Independence Day.Willie Nelson just announced he’s bringing his annual ‘Fourth of July Picnic’ to Texas’ capital city along with Bob Dylan, The Avett Brothers, The Mavericks, Asleep at the Wheel and Tami Neilson.The festivities will go down at the Germania Insurance Amphitheater starting at 3:30 p.m.“I’m 92 years old and I’ll be there so you have no excuse,” Nelson said in a statement.“I look forward to bringing back my annual 4th of July Picnic to the city I love and sharing this special event with all my Austin fans.”In the event you have a legitimate excuse and can’t make it to the Lone Star State this July 4, there will be plenty of other opportunities to catch the durable Red Headed Stranger live this year.Starting May 13, Nelson, Dylan and a score of other iconic acts like Billy Strings, Wilco, Sheryl Crow and more will travel all over the country on their tenth annual ‘Outlaw Music Festival Tour.’For those in the Tri-state area, that includes stops at Long Island’s Jones Beach Theater on Friday, Aug.
