Eagles release James Bradberry one day after Darius Slay breakup

The Eagles aren’t done shaking up their roster.One day after releasing cornerback Darius Slay, the Eagles are parting ways with fellow veteran defensive back James Bradberry after three seasons, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported Tuesday.The move will be designated as a post-June 1 release, meaning the reigning Super Bowl champions can save $2.1 million in cap space.This $2.1 million will add to the $4.3 million saved from Slay’s release Monday.A former second-round pick out of Samford in 2016, Bradberry began his career with the Panthers and stayed in Carolina for four seasons.He then signed a three-year, $29.80 million deal with the Giants in 2020.Bradberry’s time with the Giants ended in May 2022 after the new regime of general manager Joe Schoen and head coach Brian Daboll could not find a trade partner.He landed with Big Blue’s loathed rival later in the month.“You know what?
