Bodybuilder Jodi Vance was throwing up all morning before death, terrifying 911 call reveals

Jodi Vance was vomiting the morning of her tragic death last week in Columbus, Ohio, newly obtained 911 tapes revealed.TMZ published the call that Vance’s wife made to emergency services on Feb.27 after the bodybuilder wouldn’t wake up and wasn’t responding in the bodybuilder’s room at the Sonesta Columbus Downtown hotel.“My wife is passed out in bed.
She won’t wake up,” the caller told the 911 operator.“She’s groaning.
She’s been throwing up all morning, but now she won’t wake up or respond to us.” Vance, 20, was later pronounced dead at 12:51 p.m.on Thursday after she was transported to Grant Medical Center.The Franklin County Corner’s Office has not released an official cause of death, according to the Columbus Dispatch. Vance’s family said in a statement that “her heart stopped due to complications of severe dehydration.” “She was a beautiful person inside and out, and she will be missed every single day,” part of the family statement read.
“This was sudden and unexpected.Please give her family time to process this loss in peace.
“If anyone takes anything from this, please put your health first.”Vance, an Amarillo, Texas, native, was said to have been in Columbus for the Arnold Sports Festival, but a spokesperson for the event told the Dispatch that she was not a vendor or competing in the event. TMZ reported she was there to help coach pupils.Following her death, her coach, Justin Mihaly, alleged that she had been taking potentially harmful supplements without him or her family being aware. “Recently, her health had become quite concerning and now we know why, now we have the answers,” Mihaly said in a video he posted to Instagram.“Many people who loved Jodi, including myself, tried to get her to pull off the gas pedal a bit, and anyone who knows Jodi knows how challenging that would be.”...
