FBI joins frantic search for University of Pittsburgh student Sudiksha Konanki in Dominican Republic

The FBI has joined the search for missing University of Pittsburgh student Sudiksha Konanki, who went missing nearly a week ago while on spring break with friends in the Dominican Republic.Police in the popular tourist spot Punta Cana said they are re-interviewing people who were with 20-year-old Kananki in the early morning hours of March 6 at a beach in front of the Riu República Hotel.The search for Konanki, an Indian citizen and permanent US resident, entered its fifth day Tuesday.The young pre-med student was on a spring break vacation with friends from the University of Pittsburgh when she went missing Thursday.This is a developing story.
