Power Rangers actor Dave Mallow dead at 76

Dave Mallow, who voiced Baboo in “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers,” has died.He was 76.A source told TMZ that Mallow passed away Tuesday after being in hospice care at the MonteCedro Senior Living Community in Altadena, California.Mallow’s health “had been declining in recent years,” one of his former colleagues told TMZ.Mallow did voice work on “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers” for 138 episodes from 1993 to 1999.
He worked on future shows in the franchise including “Power Rangers in Space,” “Power Rangers Zeo” and “Power Rangers Time Force.”According to his IMDb, Mallow worked in radio in the Midwest and New York City for 12 years before he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in voice acting.Mallow voiced characters in animated shows like “Digimon: Digital Monsters,” “Naruto,” “Yu-Gi-Oh!” and various Japanese animated movies.He also worked video games including “Call of Duty,” “Battleship,” “Resident Evil,” “Street Fighter” and “Final Fantasy.”Mallow is not the first “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers” actor to die.More to come…...
