Unlike the lucky New Yorkers who can take a bath in their kitchen, I, like many others, don’t have a tub. Lush has a unique solution — but it’ll cost you $75 for 30 minutes of blissful soaking. The cosmetics giant offers a private, self-led bathing treatment at its spa on the Upper East Side, complete with a selection of their signature products. “It’s really the ultimate experience,” Ruby West, the niece of a Lush founder who provides the company with research and development support, told The Post.The aptly named “Book-a-Bath” treatment comes with a rotating theme, and when I visited the spa one frigid afternoon, it was inspired by the movie “Wicked.” The theme will stay in place until November 2025 to coincide with the release of the second part of the film.“With Wicked, we’re hoping to create a sense of magic within the spa,” said West, the mastermind behind the experience, who explained that Lush collaborated with Universal to bring the room to life. The experience kicked off with a glass of cucumber-infused “spa water” and a formal invite to the “Ozmopolitan” LUSH spa (yes, really).After trading my blazer and boots for a bathrobe and slippers, I stepped into Emerald City.
