Olivia Culpo opens up on scary pregnancy journey in emotional video

Olivia Culpo was brought to tears while explaining a number of health issues she dealt with during the first trimester of her pregnancy.The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model, 32, and her husband, 49ers star Christian McCaffrey, announced last week they’re expecting their first child.In a video posted to TikTok on Tuesday, Culpo said she was on bed rest for weeks after she had pneumonia, purging and a subchorionic hematoma that caused “intense bleeding” in her uterus.

“I had pneumonia and I was sick also for two weeks.All in all I’ve truly been on bed rest for four weeks… Towards the end of two weeks of being really sick, I got a subchorionic hematoma, which is basically a blood clot in my uterus and I was bleeding everywhere.“So at this point, I was so exhausted, like two weeks of just not being able to move and then all of a sudden just purging.

It was a lot.It was heavy… I went to the doctor and it was really exciting to see that there was still a heartbeat.” Culpo said she was nine weeks pregnant when she filmed the video on Dec.

Culpo went on to explain that her baby was fine after being checked out by her doctor, and that she couldn’t travel for some time and had to stay on bed rest.“I’m really grateful that everything is going well so far.
