The Post rightly emphasizes mayoral candidate Andrew Cuomo’s hubris and inability to understand his mistakes in his years as New York’s governor (“Cuo’s blame duck,” March 18).But the real issue is that he’s the only candidate who can stop Democratic Socialist Zohran Mamdani from becoming mayor.The Post should let readers know who it supports and who can stop Mamdani.Mark SpundOceansideNever underestimate the temerity of Andrew Cuomo.
Two hours with The Post editorial board was nothing to him.Being contentious is as easy as breathing for him.Last October, he testified before the House subcommittee on COVID-19 and denied any wrongdoing in the deaths of thousands as a result of his management of the pandemic.The committee’s report accused Cuomo of medical malpractice, underreporting nursing-home deaths and attempting to influence witness testimony, leading to a criminal referral to the Justice Department.
