Innocent grandpa killed in shootout while buying his grandkids Happy Meals at a McDonalds

A Texas grandfather was shot and killed when he was caught in the middle of a gunfight in a McDonald’s — where he was trying to buy his two grandkids Happy Meals.Jorge Arbaiza, 61, was shot five times Sunday inside the fast-food restaurant in Katy, a suburb of Houston, when two groups of young people got into a shootout, KHOU 11 reported. His wife of nearly 40 years, Teresa Arbaiza, was outside in the car with their grandchildren, and called her husband to check on him when she saw other customers racing out to safety.“I’m dying, I’m going to die,” he told her in his dying words. His wife said she had noticed a man with a gun in her rearview mirror seconds before the shooting broke out.“I couldn’t leave the kids alone — I could not go inside — the kids were crying, and they were scared,” Teresa Arbaiza told the outlet in Spanish.
Jorge Arbaiza was rushed to a nearby hospital but doctors were unable to save him.A 25-year-old man — thought to be part of the brawl — was also shot, according to authorities, who said he is expected to survive.\The beloved husband and grandfather was “crazy for his grandkids,” Teresa Arbaiza said.
Investigators and a K-9 team were brought back to the scene this week to search for evidence, but no arrests have been made. One group of young men and women involved in the shooting fled the scene in a maroon SUV, while the other drove off in a white sedan, cops said.Authorities were able to track down several of the people involved in the fight, but not the shooters.
“All I want is justice,” said Zoila Garcia, Jorge’s sister-in-law.“So they can grab them and they can pay for what they did.
It’s so unjust.” ...
