Paige Spiranac is ready for her close-up.The famed golf influencer, 31, expressed disbelief Tuesday over her cameo in the newly released trailer for “Happy Gilmore 2,” the highly anticipated sequel to Adam Sandler’s beloved golf comedy that drops this summer on Netflix.“The fact that I’m in the Happy Gilmore 2 movie is actually insane lol,” Spiranac wrote on X before encouraging fans to watch the trailer.In the 93-second clip, Spiranac — one of golf’s original content creators who boasts four million Instagram followers — appears as a Dick’s Sporting Goods employee assisting Sandler’s titular Happy Gilmore, whose ball slices a giant hole in a golf simulator, stunning onlookers.Spiranac, clad in a dark green polo and black pants, watches the scene unfold before Gilmore apologizes for the mess he caused.The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit alum isn’t the only golf star who made a cameo in Tuesday’s trailer, as major champions Scottie Scheffler, Bryson DeChambeau and newly minted Players winner Rory McIlroy all made appearances.The film, a long-awaited follow-up to the 1996 comedy “Happy Gilmore,” also stars Bad Bunny, Nick Swardson and Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.Ben Stiller, Christopher McDonald and Julie Bowen are reprising their roles from the original.
