I have not stopped crying: Dolly Parton gets candid after husband Carl Deans death

Dolly Parton is getting candid over a beautiful tribute to her late husband Carl Dean.The singer, 79, took to her Instagram Story on Friday to share how much she loved Reba McEntire, Carrie Underwood, Lady A and the Opry choir’s performance at the “Opry 100 Special” this week.The group sang her hit tune “I Will Always Love You,” in honor of Parton and Dean.The couple was married for 59 years before Dean died on March 3 at the age of 82.“I have not stopped crying over the beautiful tribute of ‘I Will Always Love You’ on the 100th Anniversary of the Grand Ole Opry show,” Parton captioned her story.
“All those beautiful people with all their beautiful voices singing my song as a tribute to my husband Carl… the emotion was beyond words.I have cried enough to wash a great deal of the pain away so thanks to all of you beautiful people that helped make that possible.”The icon added: “I also will always love you.”Parton confirmed her longtime lover’s death on Instagram earlier this month.
“Carl and I spent many wonderful years together.Words can’t do justice to the love we shared for over 60 years.
Thank you for your prayers and sympathy,” her message read.In a separate post, the artist thanked fans on Instagram for their support.“This is a love note to family, friends, and fans.Thank you for all the messages, cards and flowers that you’ve sent to pay your respects for the loss of my beloved husband Carl,” she penned.
“I can’t reach out personally to each of you but just know it has meant the world to me.He is in God’s arms now and I am okay with that.
I will always love you.”Parton and Dean met at Wishy Washy Laundromat in Nashville at just 18.They tied the knot on May 30, 1966.
