Wife of slain Cal Fire captain arrested in Mexico month after vicious caught-on-camera stabbing

17 killing outside the couple’s San Diego home.The San Diego Sheriff’s Department confirmed to NBC 7 San Diego that Olejniczak has been released into the custody of US Marshalls for processing and booking, and will be charged in the murder of her wife, Rebecca “Becky” Marodi, a captain in the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, or Cal Fire.Marodi could be heard begging for her life in chilling Ring camera footage filmed during the attack, with the 49-year-old Cal Fire veteran pleading with her wife, “Please … I don’t want to die” moments before the fatal stabbing.The footage appears to show Olejniczak chasing her wife around on the front patio before Marodi can be seen again with what looks like blood on her neck as Olejniczak stands in front of her brandishing a blade with apparent blood on her arms, according to a warrant from the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office.“You should have thought of that before,” Olejniczak coldly replied, the warrant details.Marodi’s mother, Lorena, who also lived in the home, called 911 around 9 p.m.on the night of the attack.
