Dave Coulier’s battle with stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma got so tough that the actor was “prepared” to die after his fifth round of chemotherapy.The “Full House” star opened up about his cancer prognosis in an interview with Parade magazine published on Monday, March 31.Coulier, 65, revealed that he has finished chemo, and a recent biopsy on a lymph node in his neck showed “no sign of cancer.” The actor also said that he is still awaiting the results of a CAT scan to determine whether his cancer battle “will be in the rearview mirror.”“Melissa and I waited for a week to get the biopsy results back, and there is no sign of cancer,” he told Parade while referring to his wife, Melissa Bring.“One of the few times in my life when ‘zero’ has been a great number to hear.”“I was in such a daze when I walked out of the hospital, my wife looked at me when we got in the car, and she goes, ‘We forgot to ring the bell,’” Coulier added regarding his sixth and latest round of chemo last month.“Though I wanted to move around and go out and work around the house,” he said, “I just couldn’t.”While the “Fuller House” comedian’s stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma may be “in the rearview mirror” like he hopes, Coulier and his wife also revealed that his cancer treatments were far from easy – especially following his fifth round of chemo.“I think everybody’s mind goes there,” he told the magazine.
